PURPOSE: The Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring Arion Care is hiring the best possible candidates for open positions. The Recruiting Coordinator provides ongoing administrative support to the Recruiting Supervisor to ensure smooth programmatic operations. The Recruiting Coordinator collaborates with Arion Care personnel to fill available shifts and openings with qualified candidates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2 years experience and/or education in the field of Human Resources, Human Services, Communication, Marketing, or another related field
    • Experience and fluency with Microsoft Office and other related tools
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Able to acquire a DPS fingerprint card
  • Candidate sourcing, relationship building and coaching skills

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Promote Arion Care's reputation as a "great place to work"
  • Prescreen candidates' resumes and job applications
  • Interview candidates and run background checks
  • Execute active recruitment plans
  • Interact with jobseekers virtually and in-person at job fairs, campuses, and other events
  • Actively network and recruit potential job candidates
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases
  • Build strong relationships with applicants and provide a seamless handoff to Employment Advisor and/or Area Manager/Supervisor
  • Complete all administrative and record keeping duties in a timely manner
  • Communicate with department and management teams in a timely manner
  • Engage in regular dialogue with all departments to support recruiting needs
  • Follow all company and State policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
  1. Report to work on time as scheduled.
  2. Refrain from excessive absenteeism.
  3. Work all hours as scheduled.
  4. Obtain prior approval for desired time off.
  5. Maintain all records, logs, and other documentation as required by company rule and State policy and procedure.
  6. Act as an appropriate role model.
  7. Ensure that a clean and safe environment free from abuse, intimidation and harassment is maintained.
  8. Maintain up-to-date vehicle insurance coverage.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to lift items up to 30 lbs.
  • The ability to walk, kneel, stand, and bend.
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to quickly respond to health, safety, and emergency situations.
  • Ability to use and work with multiple databases to research discrepancies, update databases, and maintain spreadsheets and tables.
  • Ability to exercise patience and use good judgment while working quickly.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates as a remote tele-work position, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide separate workplace at a corporate location. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate.
