PURPOSE: The Director of Clinical Development is responsible for creating Project Plans for a variety of company growth initiatives (i.e. ABA Clinics, Psychology/Counseling services, integrated healthcare, etc.). The Director of Clinical Development is responsible for developing and executing new project charters through the full life cycle including but not limited to project development, team management, quality control, coordinating with vendors and team members, and facilitating communication with all stakeholders for all projects. The Director of Clinical Development will help advance organizational initiatives and manage projects within the clinical department to enhance program growth and sustainability. The Director of Clinical Development will report to the Chief Clinical Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • License to practice Behavior Analysis in the state of Arizona
  • 3+ years' experience in a Leadership Role (i.e. Department Manager, Clinical Director, Senior Leadership, etc.)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Satisfactory background check.
  • Able to acquire a DPS fingerprint card.
  • State of AZ Article 9 Training
  • AzAHP -Initial and Annual Core Training Plan
  • Ability to obtain transportation to a wide variety of work sites.



OTHER SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • OBM training preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of ABA funding source requirements related to building licensure and state health department guidelines
  • Experience with project management and scaling company growth
  • Experience completing projects according to scope, budget and timeline
  • Experience developing project plans including project charters, statement of work, and work breakdown structure
  • Experience determining project-critical success factors (PCSFs) and KPI's for project success
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with a wide range of productivity tools, including collaboration and software (e.g., Slack, MS Teams), standard MS Office tools (e.g., Outlook Online, OneDrive)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop project plans, including long and short term goals, that identify resources and budgetary needs for all new projects
  • Create strategic plans/KPI's for various company growth opportunities with Chief Clinical Director aligned with Department development vision
  • Define project teams and delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Set targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and adjusting schedules and targets on the assigned project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Perform quality control on assigned projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Complete projects through the full life cycle in accordance with strategic growth plan
  • Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Assist Chief Clinical Director with department marketing and employee recruitment initiatives
  • Facilitate project meetings weekly, or as needed, with Chief and Executive Clinical Director throughout project
  • Collaborate with Chief and Executive Clinical Director to make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with projects and/or department development
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to fulfill continuous quality improvement processes for assigned projects as needed
  • Engage in interdepartmental collaboration and communication to advance department initiatives and/or targets associated with assigned projects

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to physically assist in worksite development as needed including lifting/transferring items.
  • Patience; Ability to exercise restraint and self-control in potentially high stress, challenging situations
  • Ability to quickly respond to health, safety and emergency
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use and work with computer data bases to track information.

  • Requires the use of personal vehicle

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Position may require working traveling to different worksites and/or office locations throughout the valley.
  • This job operates as a remote tele-work position, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate workplace at a corporate location. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate.
